PAE has an opportunity for a Facial Recognition Clerk to join our team on our Federal Government contract in Williamsburg, KY.

Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:

  • The Facial Recognition Clerk performs facial recognition comparisons for visa and passport applications using provided software and/or online processes which present potential candidate matches for a given applicant.
  • The review is completed via an online process using digital images, by which the Facial Recognition Clerk shall examine the candidate matches and record in the system whether any are likely matches and provide necessary annotations.
  • This position follows clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence. Little or no subject-matter knowledge is required, but the clerk uses his or her own judgment in choosing the proper procedure for each task.

The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive 7-year criminal and credit history background check
  • Must successfully complete a drug screening
  • Must be able to pass a skills assessment with a qualifying score
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government certification

Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Data entry experience

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong command of the English language both verbally and written
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a professional work ethic
  • Basic understanding of geography
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the team

Physical Demands:

  • Required to sit at a desk steadily working on a computer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  Ability to Lift up to 10 lbs, bend, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, climb, etc.

  • Mainly office but may also include all other work environments as required.
