Business Operations Manager

PAE is seeking a Deputy Program and Business Operations Manager (DPM). Under the direct supervision of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) DoD Red Team contract Program Manager (PM);

The DPM assists the PM assisting with the business operations functions and operations of leading a dynamic Red Team. DPM will focus on assisting in program financial and budgetary processes. Using established procedures, the DPM assists the PM in aggressively and proactively analyzes and forecasts contract financial data, projects, operations, budgets, expenses and profit and loss. Assists the PM regarding all matters of Government Furnished Equipment, Materials, and Property as well as Contractor Acquired Property (CAP). The DPM provides support to the DTRA DoD Red Team Government Team Chief and Government Program Manager. In addition, the DPM supports assessment operations and performs all tasks assigned to the PM in their absence. Represent the PM as required at PAE and DTRA at selected meetings in the absence or at the direction of the PM.

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Experience in a management role commensurate with the position description and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for day-to-day business operations of DoD Red Team to meet specific program objectives.
  • Proficiency in understanding, analyzing and summarizing comprehensive and complex technical, contractual, and research information/data.
  • Excellent analytical, communications-both oral and written, and project management experience.
  • Proficient in financial functions such as analysis, revenue forecasting, monthly and quarterly direct cost review, and profitability.
  • Capable of leading a detailed financial review with management.
  • Performs monthly/quarterly/year end analysis and reconciliation on all projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of related experience.
  • Some travel involved supporting assessment operations.
  • An Active Top Secret with SCI Security Clearance required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Familiar with Red Teaming and Red Team operations.
  • Experience in Deltek, CostPoint and Share Point desired.
