eDiscovery Project Manager

The eDiscovery Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for coordinating the collection, tracking, processing, hosting, review, and production of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) as well as hard copy material to support Department of Justice (DOJ) investigators and attorneys during the discovery phase of litigation.

A successful eDiscovery PM is able to simultaneously manage 6 to 10 moderately active and moderately sized cases. The PM must seamlessly work with PAE managers and technical staff as well as DOJ attorneys and case managers; all having varying levels technical skills.

A successful eDiscovery PM will have advanced to expert knowledge of data hosting platforms such as Concordance, iCONECT, and Relativity. In addition, the PM should possess a working understanding of Technology Assisted Review (TAR) tools like the Relativity Assisted Review Suite or Equivio. Finally, the PM should be knowledgeable in Electronic File Processing (EFP) tools such as IPRO eCapture, LexisNexis LAW, and Venio.

A successful eDiscovery PM will have experience plotting out and implementing workflows from the evidence collection phase all the way through document production.

A successful eDiscovery PM will have experience formulating project budgets and developing level-of-effort (LOE) projections.

A successful eDiscovery PM will have experience using industry standard chain-of-custody (COC) procedures and be familiar with forensic approaches for preserving data integrity. This includes managing COC documentation and coordinating hand-off of evidence between multiple internal and external parties.

A successful eDiscovery PM will be adept at absorbing diffuse information, critically analyzing it, preparing summary reports, and presenting the same to internal as well as external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
  • At least 4 years of experience in an eDiscovery position and at least 3 years of in-depth experience using Relativity, iCONECT, or Concordance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a technical field, advanced degree or Juris Doctor (JD) is desirable.
  • Need to be proactive, organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be willing to work on a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.

  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA); use of Relativity Conceptual and Structured Analytics or Equivio is helpful.
  • Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
