Electronics Technician Maintenance II (Power Distribution Group)

PAE SCORE is actively searching for an Electronics Technician (Power Distribution Group) to support the Naval Air Station Southern California Offshore Range (SCORE) contract, at San Clemente Island, CA.

Essential Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Assist in the troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on SCORE emergency generators and mobile generators.

  • Assist in the set-up and operation of SCORE emergency generators and mobile generators.

  • Assist in the installation of minor electrical circuitry in SCORE facilities and equipment.

    (d) Generate and handle hazardous waste.

    (e) Prepare and submit reports.

    (f) Operate a motor vehicle.

    (g) Operate a forklift

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel generators
  • Three (3) years experience operating and maintaining digital and analog electronic equipment and/or electromechanical equipment.

  • Three (3) years experience with printed circuit layouts, engineering drawings and sketches, electronic test equipment and the operation and repair of electronic and/or electromechanical equipment.

  • Proficiency in the use of a wide range of electronic test equipment; and able to interpret engineering drawing and sketches.  

  • Must have the ability to obtain an Interim Security Clearance (or transfer) in a timely manner, and maintain a US Government (DoD) Secret Clearance for this position on the SCORE Contract.  


  • Proficency in written and verbal English language skills.
  • Able to stand, see, reach 50-75% of the time and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 50-75% of the time.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of spending extensive hours in support of range operations.
  • Must hold a California Driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of military operations is highly desirable.


  • Graduation from an accredited trade school, applicable military service program or proven performance gained through experience.
