Engineer, Junior (Electrical)

Duties, Experience, Skills, Requirements, and Information:

  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate hardware and software, including military weapon systems.
  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Performs basic tasking with limited oversight.
  • Supports tasking working with more senior engineers.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • All candidates will be required to pass Drug Screenings

.Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (aerospace, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, electronics, industrial, materials, mechanical, nuclear, safety) from a school where the degree curriculum was accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Security Clearance:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Security clearance, throughout employment.

  • Work Conditions:
    Conditions will vary. Most work performed in enclosed buildings.  Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching. This classification’s activities range from, an office-like environment with extensive sitting demands to a flight line-like environment with extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May occasionally be required to lift objects whose weight exceeds 30 pounds. Special vision abilities to perform this job are close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
