General Clerk III Team Lead

The supervisor directs, trains, assists, and supervises staff in performing applicable support functions in support of a government customer. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (day to day functions):

  • The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that work performed is to optimum quality standards and meets customer timeliness requirements.
  • The supervisor reviews and approves daily/weekly production reports, paying particular attention to their achievement of performance standards on a daily/weekly basis. 
  • The supervisor is required to perform scanning and/or QA activities
  • The supervisor assures proper storage and disposition of physical and electronic records
  • Responsible for managing timesheet compliance of team, which includes ensuring time is entered daily, time is entered accurately, and conducting review/approval of each timesheet at the end of each pay period.
  • Responsible for managing leave requests of team members and ensuring proper coverage is provided to meet production and quality metrics.
  • Coordinates with the government Project Manager to ensure compliance with Statement of Work.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compile staff work statistics into weekly and monthly reports to Government customer
  • Attend regular meetings providing contract updates to Government customer

Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of direct records management experience and one (1) year supervisory experience. 
  • Must pass corporate background check and any necessary Government-mandated security clearance requirement.
  • Computer skills required: MS Office Suite

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the supervisor is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, and climb is also required.  

Work Environment:

This position is performed in a traditional office environment.
