PAE is supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in providing specialized training, advisory and mentoring services to host nations under the Criminal Division’s International Criminal Investigative Training and Assistance Program (ICITAP).  https://www.justice.gov/criminal-icitap   ICITAP is a cornerstone of America’s global strategy for combating transnational crime, terrorism, countering trafficking in persons, establishing rule of law and enhancing human rights in developing countries.  PAE is the contract service provider to the DOJ ICITAP and Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) programs.   

PAE is seeking exceptional personnel to enhance our forensic expertise to support the DOJ/ICITAP’s mission for building forensic capacity to collect, exploit and share Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and other terrorist related evidence with national and international authorities.

Please Note: This is an Independent Contractor position with PAE, it should not be considered an employment relationship with PAE.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

HS/GED and 19 years of experience OR Bachelors and 15 years or more of related experience; OR Masters and 13 years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOJ issued DOJ Public Trust Waiver

15+ years of progressive law enforcement experience to include significant experience as a senior level law enforcement manager or police executive.

Preferred past or present experience serving as a trainer or having responsibility for the delivery of entry level law enforcement training, and/or in-service law enforcement training at local, state or federal level.

Demonstrated progressive supervision, management and leadership experience relating to the delivery of civilian law enforcement services and all aspects of police administration and operations

Thorough understanding of community policing, organized crime, criminal investigations, internal affairs, and field training programs.

Proven ability to assess the delivery of specialized law enforcement activities and make appropriate recommendations relating to the implementation of capacity building activities and the creation of sustainable institutional change.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills.

Desired Experience:

Master’s degree or PhD is preferred

Current and active Secret Security Clearance is desired

Foreign Language skills a plus
