Logistics Instructor

This contract will provide a support to RSNF Marine Force (RSNFMF) and RSNF Naval Special Forces, also known as Naval Special Security forces to include training and education, engineering, technical and management support for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF). The required services shall support all levels of in-Kingdom RSNF training and other logistical and advisory support, often requiring time-sensitive responses.

The Logistics Instructor primary role is to provide and maintain qualified staff of management, instructors, and administrative assistance to support the Logistics, Supply and Service Support Training program at RSNF locations. The primary instruction location(s) include but are not limited to Naval Supply School Jubail and Naval Supply School Jeddah.

The additional duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive:

DUTIES:

  • Analyze RSNF Logistics, Supply and Service Support training schedules, delivery methods, and standards to determine currency, relevance and applicability to current training objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, studies, briefings, and point papers containing findings/results to include recommendations for modification and/or development of RSNF Logistics, Supply and Service Support training schedules, delivery methods, and standards.
  • Assist the RSNF with developing, modifying and maintaining logistics technical publications and procedures manuals.
  • Provide courseware and curriculum development services required to meet RSNF Logistics, Supply and Service Support training program objectives. For all curriculum development efforts, the required format(s) shall conform to the guidance provided in NAVEDTRA 130 series manuals.
  • Modify, maintain, and refresh training courseware and curriculum as determined necessary by the customer to ensure Logistics, Supply and Service Support training and education courses meet overall RSNF training objectives.
  • Provide training on instruction topics that include but are not limited to the following:
    • COMPASS
    • Advanced Logistics Program
    • Basic Supply Enlisted
    • Basic Supply Officer
    • Advanced Supply Enlisted
    • Advanced Supply Officer

REQUIRED:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years’ experience instructing students in military programs or five (5) years’ experience instructing students in military programs and certified as a military training specialist. Shall have United States Military or United States Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid drivers’ license from Home of Record.
  • Security Vetting: Be able to obtain a favorable US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.
  • Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.
  • Citizenship: US Citizenship or Saudi Arabian National is required.
  • Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by PAE and our customer for deployment to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.
  • Work Ethic: Commitment to maintaining a high performance team which delivers customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Shall have professional knowledge of Navy management theories, policies, principles, procedures, and techniques.
    • Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
    • Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
    • Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
    • Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.

DESIRED:

  • Previous out of home country experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions are a plus.
  • Experience working with PAE.
 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This position may deploy on TDY basis to an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy other sites as required for extended periods. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including climbing in and out of equipment and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.
