Shift Supervisor - AMDC


The Shift Supervisor shall oversee all shift operations in reference to all maintenance training aids and devices such as a UH-60 Maintenance Trainer and/or a UH-60 Differences trainer.  This will include all U.S. Government provided training aids and devices as well as conducting operations and maintenance instruction.  The Shift Supervisor shall also be responsible for updating the Site Manager of all maintenance/technical material(s) to reflect any changes to the training system(s) configuration.


  • At least twelve (12) months of maintenance supervisory experience in the field of electronics
  • Six (6) years of simulator maintenance experience
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in the maintenance of all major systems and subsystems of simulator systems.
  • Graduation from a two (2) year Electronics Technician resident course at an accredited technical institute.
    • Equivalent simulator maintenance and education may be substituted for the above provided that it is comparable to the systems in the specific trainers (e.g., hydraulics, computers, visual systems, etc.)
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned
  • Proficient in the use of the current maintenance management system utilized to maintain Army aircraft forms and records
  • Candidates must be capable of qualifying to perform Hazardous Flight duties as Crew-members/Non-Crew-members
  • Required to meet the qualifications in AR 95-20
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass CENTCOM medical, dental and other CRC-related deployment requirements from CRC at Ft. Bliss, TX.  
  • Must continue to maintain CENTCOM Mod 13 and other deployment-related requirements for the Afghanistan theater of operations   
  • Must be able to receive and maintain a current/active Afghanistan visa
  • Must be in possession of and maintain an appropriate-level current/active security clearance with eligibility to receive/maintain a NATO clearance for the duration of the deployment    
  • Must be willing to work and live in austere and hostile environments in Afghanistan, and understanding of the possibility to be further assigned to any location in Afghanistan, as allowed by the contract
  • Must be willing and able to travel outside of protected areas via military convoys or MILAIR, and wear protective clothing and equipment, as required.  Force protection will be provided by authorized sources. 
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
  • Must comply with all theater command policies, regulations, and General Orders


  • Previous OCONUS experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 7 years’ maintenance experience
  • Two (2) years maintenance supervisory experience
  • Airframe & Power plant (A&P) license
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
