Sr. Deltek Administrator

PAE is seeking a Senior Deltek Administrator to support Costpoint, Deltek Time & Expense (T&E) and supporting systems/tools.  This position may require periodic night / weekend work to support month-end closing activities / special projects. This position can be remote, if necessary.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance, patching, upgrade and overall health of the Costpoint ERP
  • Provision new users and ensure they are properly setup
  • Participate in the planning, design, documenting, implementing, testing and support of business systems/applications
  • Fast-Paced, High-Intensity Work Environment
  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting and Supply Chain users to understand complex reporting requirements and develops reports in compliance with those requirements
  • Support Costpoint user community with training and troubleshooting of issues
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the front-end application screens, functions and job processing and how these tie to the database tables and other applications, functions and processes
  • Work with Database and System Administrators along with other technical SMEs to monitor system performance and processing, troubleshoot performance issues, investigate critical system errors, capture traces, and analyze server logs
  • Lead the evaluation, escalation and resolution of defects with the Costpoint and T&E vendor (Deltek)
  • Collaborate with end users and development team members to understand business requirements and contribute creative ideas and enhancements to the platform
  • Flexible and Willing to Perform Other Tasks as Assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5-7 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint as a functional expert or administrator
  • Strong working knowledge of Costpoint modules
  • Some software development background, along with a good understanding of the full software development life-cycle
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • The ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficient with SQL
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in the following is a plus:
    • IBM Cognos BI/Analytics
    • Costpoint Extensibility and API
    • Oracle SQL/PL SQL
    • Oracle WebLogic
